The bells in the woods
It was a cold hollow night, the sky stained with a slight dash of red from the sun that was reluctant to set, just holding on peaking up upon the horizon. Dark silhouettes of trees danced and creaked in a horrid confusing circuit throwing out amber leaves which settled on the brown and sickly green dead grass field. I wandered down my eyes glancing at a small brook, the dark murky water seemed sinister almost discouraging. Trees hung over my head creating a lurking atmosphere.
I continued to wander deeper into this forest, a friend of mine’s cat had recently gone missing, snowball. I remembered the small tabby wore a bright blue collar with a small jingle bell, I remembered every time I saw that eerie, dark, grim cat I felt as if someone was there, grasping my neck its blue eyes burning into my very being. The only reason I offered to look for that embodiment of hatred is due to the fact everyone else seemingly refused to enter the forest. I didn’t know why, it wasn’t that bad.
I wandered deeper into the beckoning depths of this chaotic puzzle of twisted leaves and distorted branches some twigs grasping out trying to pull me into their dark cage of nightmares. Stumbling and tripping on over growth. Ivy climbed the trees hiding their bark and giving them an alien look.
The sky now becomes a thick dark black, air becoming cold and uncomfortable in my lungs and every hair on the back of my neck deciding to jolt up at the slightest breeze. Feeling pathetic at jolting because of a bit of wind I trudge onward.
That’s when I heard it, a bell dashing over quickly only to realise, it seemed to be heading behind me. I got annoyed at how it seemed harder and harder to make out the location of the bells. That’s when I heard two bells, stuck in a denial of my own mind telling me it’s just an echo across the towering trees. Soon there was three bells, four bells, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven…
Soon a choir of bells in the distance I couldn’t quite make out the locations of the noises until I snapped the bells ringing dug away at my patience I screeched “Shut up !” the bells went silent.
Spotting a dash of grey I ran towards it, I’d had enough, I was tired of waiting and looking for this pathetic cat, it wasn’t even worth it. Dashing into the over growth and tripping over a large pile of nettles .As I moved my hand, trying to find something to pull me to my feet I felt something cold and metallic. My eyes gazed down to see a set of eight bells on strings knotted together. Picking it up and glazing into my shiny reflection on the cold and smooth surface I noticed there was a silhouette behind me. Turning I saw a dark figure, It’s skin almost looked as if it was created out of a deep black smoke, it’s yellow eyes borrowed  into my soul and it had long, flat, thin teeth which created a horrific grin. I froze out of terror. It extended a long hand and pointed a finger directly at my face, you could see every single bone and muscle underneath that disgusting mist-like skin. Its legs looked bent and crushed, it’s back arched and you could see its spine and ribcage. It looked almost excited to see me. Jolting back on horror of the creature its face changed from joy to rage as it turned on me, bearing its large fangs and hissing. It whipped me aside with a single movement of its long, twisted arm. I was slammed quickly into a tree, my blurred vision focused on a small grey figure behind the beast. It all went black.
I was bored and annoyed
I was inspired by my jumper of which had bells on it

Sorry that your in a bad place. Writing helps me get rid of all the feels, too, even if I don't really post any of it on dA.
There weren't that many spelling errors, and it was interesting enough.
Soo.. Did they die? Did she live? More, perhaps? owo
